Planting trees

We are constantly striving to grow trees and help farmers around the world:

We collaborate with Treedom and other associations to make our planet a better place 

Planting a tree with Treedom means funding a farmer to plant a tree and supporting it until it becomes productive. In fact, with Treedom a tree is much more than a tree. Here is what is included

• Start of the project
• Construction of the nursery and production of seedlings
• Plant distribution to farmersPlant placement
• Maintenance of the plant until it provides an income to the farmer
• Training of farmers on best agroforestry practices, also with the support of universities and local research institutions
• Replacement of failed plants in the early years when the mortality rate is highest
• Planting 5% more trees, which are not allocated to users, to cover tree failures
• Recording GPS coordinates of the tree and photographic monitoring
• Annual spot checks on the project areas to verify the permanence of the trees and their good state of health
• Photo approval and checking of the coordinates of each individual tree by our agronomists
• Assignment of a unique tree ID and entry of the tree in the public register
• Regular project updates, focusing on environmental and social benefits, published in the Tree Diary
